You would like to know that after the four years of the CMTC you will come out with a good grasp of theological and Biblical issues as they relate to 21st century life and witness. But you also want more than that.
You want to be trained at a practical level in a broad range of skills and you want to be challenged to think wisely and Biblically for yourself in handling situations, opportunities and people. You will want to be handling the Bible in a relevant way to contemporary culture, with theological rigour and pastoral application.
You will want much of the material to be directly relevant for your ministry whilst understanding that some of it will be more directly applicable to others. You will see the importance of understanding effective ministry throughout the breadth of the church.
You will be ready to commit time to listen to 3-4 lectures per week throughout the year along with advised supplementary reading, 6 assignments per year and be available for the two residential weeks (around Easter and late August, in school holidays).
If you would like to come along to a Taster Day during one of the residential days please contact us for details. This is for those considering joining the CMTC and for church leaders who are considering recommending others to join.
